CASE Appoints Robb Lee as New Vice President for Marketing and Business Development
The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) is pleased to announce the appointment of Robb Lee as Vice President for Marketing and Business Development, effective 23 June 2025. This executive-level role reflects Robb’s extensive leadership experience and strategic vision in aligning marketing and product management with business growth.
Robb brings nearly two decades of senior executive experience across the association, nonprofit, for profit, and higher education sectors. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Integrated Strategy at Yes&, where he advised mission-driven organizations on aligning marketing and communications with broader business goals. Before that, he spent 18 years at the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), where he held several senior positions, including Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Marketing Officer.
In these roles, Robb led transformative initiatives focused on strategic alignment, operational effectiveness, and revenue generation. His accomplishments include developing ASAE’s first competitive and pricing assessments, overseeing product evaluations, and leading the digital revamp of its flagship publication. He also implemented artificial intelligence solutions to tailor content delivery, boosting engagement and enhancing the member experience.
Robb will also focus on mergers and acquisitions that will help CASE and its partners pursue new opportunities for strategic growth. He has also been a long-standing advocate for equity and inclusion, helping lead ASAE’s first volunteer-developed diversity strategy and advancing inclusive dialogue.
At CASE, Robb will lead a newly integrated division encompassing marketing, communications, and business development. His charge is to sharpen CASE’s strategic positioning, grow and diversify revenue, and forge partnerships that propels CASE’s mission: to support our members in advancing education to transform lives and society. This role reflects our recognition that a unified, business-focused approach to marketing and development is essential to meeting the evolving needs of our membership around the world.
“Robb brings a rare combination of senior marketing leadership and business insight to CASE,” said Sue Cunningham, CASE President and CEO. “His expertise will be critical as we further integrate our marketing and business development functions in support of our members and the advancement profession. Robb’s appointment reflects our continued commitment to strategic growth, operational excellence, and strengthening CASE’s brand.”
This role at CASE is a natural continuation of Robb’s lifelong dedication to the power of education. His leadership will play a vital role in expanding CASE’s reach, deepening member value, and driving strategic partnerships across our advancement community.
CASE is pleased to welcome Robb to its leadership team.
