Throughout 2024, CASE celebrated its 50th anniversary by asking members about the future of advancement. At 26 CASE volunteer meetings, conferences, and other events across regions and disciplines, we gathered more than 200 panelists and discussion contributors—along with conference participants who listened and asked questions. Six key areas emerged—topics that demand our attention as we continue to prepare the advancement workforce to ably address challenges now and into the future. They are: listening to and serving our communities; enhancing emphasis on engagement; leading innovation and strategic change; leveraging technology; improving data to inform decision-making; and harnessing and strengthening advancement talent.
