Dave has dedicated over twenty-five years to his career as an educator, enjoying roles as both a classroom teacher and an administrator. With a background teaching English and History, Dave has also held pivotal positions such as Head of the English Department and Dean of Students, demonstrating a commitment to academic excellence and student development.
Driven by a passion for growth and exploration, Dave embraced a new challenge as Director of Advancement at St. George's School, Vancouver and now leads initiatives to build community, to enhance the educational landscape, and to strengthen institutional foundations. This transition not only underscores Dave's adaptability but also highlights a keen interest in the broader facets of independent school leadership.
Beyond the professional sphere, Dave is a dedicated outdoorsman, finding solace and inspiration in activities such as running, hiking, skiing, and cycling. With a penchant for adventure, Dave can often be found on the trails with friends, family, and their faithful pup, Panda, or navigating the waters of the Pacific either aboard a small boat or atop a paddleboard.
Combining a wealth of educational expertise with a fervent love for the outdoors, Dave embodies a multifaceted approach to life and learning, enriching both the academic and personal realms with enthusiasm and dedication.
