Dave Conner (EdD, SPHR, ACC) is Director of Talent Development for the Office of University Development at Duke University. He completed both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Wheaton College (Wheaton, IL) and received an Ed.D. in Adult Continuing Education with a concentration in Southeast Asian Studies from Northern Illinois University. He holds current certifications in both human resources (SPHR) and coaching (ACC). Dave’s career has included work in higher ed distance education and talent development, international relief & development, and fundraising consulting. His areas of specialization include non-formal education, coaching, human resource management and development, organizational development, non-profit management & fundraising, intercultural communications, and cross-cultural research.
