Events and experiences are an impactful way to drive organizational goals, brand, and success – and they’re a lot of work! As both prices and expectations rise, leveraging resources and thinking strategically is vital. Join us at the Special Events in Advancement conference to gain inspiration and new ideas, pick up tools and strategies to implement in your shop, and connect with professionals across the industry. And new this year, a track has been incorporated for those who manage Homecomings and Reunions!

 Learning Objectives

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create opportunities for engaging key constituents
  • Design spaces and experiences for meaningful engagement at special events
  • Implement templates, tools, and strategies to plan and manage complex programs, including homecomings and reunions
  • Market and communicate events to drive registration, engagement, and fundraising
  • Utilize and manage volunteers effectively and integrate campus/off-campus partners.
  • Demonstrate success and program effectiveness through event metrics and data storytelling.

Hear what past attendees have to say:

  • “Networking with peers about issues was a highlight for this conference. This kind of networking sparked ideas and gave us plenty of information to take home with us to implement and try. Very glad and grateful that I was able to attend!”
  • “I came to learn what different institutions are doing on their campuses, and it did not disappoint! I would highly recommend attending and gaining more knowledge to enhance your programs.”
  • “Attending this conference was an incredibly valuable experience as someone who is looking to further their career in Advancement. I left feeling inspired, re-energized, and grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a thoughtful, passionate professional community.”
  • “This was my first CASE conference, and I will definitely be going to more. It was so nice talking to people that are going through what I am going through. Picking the brains of professionals that have been doing this 3 times longer than me was invaluable.”
