Utah Valley University transformed its black-tie President’s Scholarship Ball gala into a socially distanced, 1950s-themed drive-in movie night.

A holiday video message is a common undertaking for many schools and universities, but the 2020 messages took on a new importance as many institutions were virtual and social distancing guidelines were in place. 

The FRC offers parent and child playgroups, tutoring for both parents and children, counseling, a free children’s clothing exchange, and more. Over the years the FRC has expanded to support food and housing insecure students and workforce participants as well as student parents.  

The Open University is open to everyone regardless of age, income, geography, and background, and with no requirement for entry qualifications for the vast majority of courses.

To creatively and efficiently recognize award-winners across the University of Toronto’s three campuses and a range of academic fields, the communications team developed a website, U of T Celebrates, to serve as a virtual trophy case.
