The Penn State Global Careers Institute prepares international students for post-graduation career success by tapping the expertise of Penn State alumni from around the world as presenters in an intensive professional development experience. The institute features an online curriculum followed by a full day and a half residential professional development conference. Every aspect of the institute is designed with the goal to enhance the professionalism of student participants.

The residential institute includes session tracks with large and small group sessions featuring industry leaders from around the world, individual career counseling appointments and professional networking events with alumni. Alumni engage with students by presenting on a diversity of topics, ranging from the practical to the global.
