The CASE Platinum Awards recognize the best-of-the-best programs and practices in educational advancement globally.
Join us in congratulating the winners of the 2019 CASE Platinum Awards:
BEST ARTICLES OF THE YEAR
BEST PRACTICES IN ALUMNI RELATIONS
EXCELLENCE IN PHOTOGRAPHY
The Association of Graduates is the alumni association for the United States Air Force Academy. It is a separate nonprofit, not officially a part of the Academy. USAFA is a four-year institution that develops leaders of character for the Air Force.
BEST PRACTICES IN COMMUNICATIONS AND MARKETING
Heart 2 Heart saw collaboration between Loughborough University, Loughborough Students’ Union and the British Heart Foundation to address the shocking statistic that only 8% of patients survive a cardiac arrest in England because people don’t know emergency CPR.
BEST PRACTICES IN FUNDRAISING
The INSPIRED campaign had ambitious goals. Its purpose was not only to take the University’s fundraising to a new level of revenue generation, but to demonstrate that philanthropy at scale was possible in the Australian context.
Rebalancing the conversation is paramount to achieving Ohio State’s overarching marketing goals over the next three to five years, with particular focus on increasing external awareness/visibility of, engagement with and advocacy for Ohio State’s intellectual capital, teaching and learning, outreach and engagement, resource stewardship, leadership position and the President’s 2020 Vision.
BEST PRACTICES IN ADVANCEMENT SERVICES
We were tasked to create a campaign planning pyramid (gift table) tool that would be informed by our institution’s historical revenue and prospect behavior and would allow our leadership to interactively plug in a variety of assumptions in order to evaluate multiple campaign scenarios.
How does it work?
Platinum Awards judging is structured like a tournament. CASE members enter first through either their region (CASE Asia-Pacific, CASE Europe or CASE Latin America), or through one of the eight North American districts. An awards selection committee composed of volunteers from each region or district conducts the first round of judging and will recognize up to two entries per category.
Finalists from each region and district are then judged in an international second round to determine which entries deserve Platinum recognition.
Interested in entering next year's Platinum awards? Enter locally, and compete globally. If you are in the Europe, Latin America or Asia-Pacific region, nominations open August 1 and close November 13. Stay tuned for nomination dates for Districts.
Benefits of entering
- Let your work be recognized as the "best of the best." Winners of CASE Platinum Awards are the top entries at both the regional and international level.
- Gain regional and global visibility for your outstanding efforts to benefit your institution.
- It's easy; only one entry is required. If your entry wins at the district/regional level, it will automatically be entered in the running for a Platinum-level award.
