Meet Your Speakers
Caroline is the Director of Communications and Community Relations at the American School of Paris, where she is responsible for monitoring and understanding the experience of all stakeholders and ensuring that all marketing and communications are designed to increase engagement, amplify influence, and drive revenue. Caroline leads an integrated Advancement team encompassing work on enrollment management and philanthropy. Caroline has been at ASP since 2016, having spent the prior six years as the Director of Annual Giving at the Hockaday School in Dallas, Texas.
Peter has secured over $100 million dollars in operating, capital, and endowed programs to support the advancement of education. Peter has been recognized by both the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), and the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) for his service in the field of both higher and K-12 independent school education. Peter served as the CASE/NAIS 2014 conference chair.
Christine began her career as an admissions officer at Dartmouth College, where she focused on first-generation and student of color recruitment. After earning her Ed.M. in Administration, Planning and Social Policy at the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE), she transitioned to educational fundraising, working as a major gifts officer at The Madeira School in McLean, Virginia, and her secondary school alma mater, St. Paul’s School in Concord, New Hampshire. A Connecticut resident since 2002, she returned to higher education as the director of major gifts at her college alma mater, Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, where she oversaw the major gifts, planned giving and prospect research functions. In November of 2011, Christine became the vice president of institutional advancement at the University of Hartford, where she and her team grew the philanthropic and engagement program.
Christine loves working, once again, in an all-girls’ school as the chief advancement officer at Miss Porter’s School. Though a native of Cape Cod, most weekends you can find Christine and her husband Alex sitting in a very cold rink where they watch their goaltender son Arthur play hockey.
Gustavo Segui is Director of Marketing & Advancement at the International School of Curitiba (ISC), Board Member at the American Chamber of Commerce in Curitiba and teacher at Aldeia Co-working. He has worked for the past 9 years in the education sector with previous experience at Volkswagen HQ in International Marketing & Sales. With a strong background in Marketing, Design, Sales and Fundraising, he has been an invited speaker at many business related conferences. Currently he's directing the areas of Admissions, Communications & Marketing, Community & Events and Fundraising, alongside being a member of ISC School Leadership and ISC Culture Leadership - building organisational culture and driving professional development.
Ann Snyder has served as Director of Independent Schools at CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education) since March of 2020. Prior to joining CASE, she was Director of External Affairs at Stuart Hall School in Virginia. With more than a decade of experience in student and family marketing, school leadership, enrollment, fundraising, and external affairs, Ann is a seasoned school leader and industry expert.
In her role at CASE, Ann serves as the industry insider, expert, and thought-leader for schools globally. Professional facilitation and speaking engagements include serving as a key speaker and collaborator for the Canadian Association of Independent Schools, the National Association of Independent Schools (US), the Association of American Schools in South America, and regional associations throughout the United States.
Bob Weston brings to CCS 30 years of independent school experience and expertise as an educator, administrator, and fundraiser. Over the span of his career, Bob has held several senior administrative positions, and worked extensively on hiring and recruiting faculty, collaborating on institutional strategic planning, and directing annual, major gifts, and capital campaign fundraising programs.
