About the Entry
One of the challenges that The Association of Former Students faces from a marketing standpoint is trying to succinctly describe (i.e., create an awareness of) the depth of the available programs and services that are available to the Aggie Network (i.e., current, former students (alumni) and friends of Texas A&M). To overcome that challenge, they developed a video series titled Around The Association that supplemented traditional ways of communicating (i.e., magazine, website, email, social media, etc.).
From the Judges' Report
Judges thought this video series titled Around The Association was a highly effective supplement to more traditional ways of communicating (emails, mailers, etc). They said it was a great way to break out of the email/ social media fog while still delivering your message. Judges were also impressed by the social media hits and engagement around the video series.
