Rebecca Hazell is a senior advancement leader who is passionate about philanthropy, alumni, and community engagement, with particular interest in building a philanthropic culture in the higher education sector and developing connectivity with the community.

Rebecca has held leadership roles in both the higher education and charitable sectors. She is currently the Executive Director of Advancement at The University of Newcastle, where she has led the establishment of an integrated approach to advancement, enabling a sustained and meaningful approach to engaging with alumni, community, and donors across the globe.
