Kenton Youngblood has twenty years of advancement experience in the areas of higher education, the arts and social services. She currently serves as a Director of Development at the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina where she co-leads a $8M major gifts program, serves as the chief fundraiser for the College of Charleston School of the Arts and manages a team of four senior development officers. 

Prior to CofC, she was Vice President of Major Gifts at Trident United Way in North Charleston, Director of Development for the Gibbes Museum of Art in Charleston, SC. She started her career in alumni affairs working as the Executive Director of the University of Virginia Club of New York City and then spent time in Austin, TX working for the Alzheimer's Association.  Youngblood graduated from the University of Virginia and knew during her college years that development was her calling and has been at it ever since.
