A longtime lover of written expression, Kelly Hochbein taught writing to second and fifth graders before entering the exciting world of higher ed communications. She’s found her passion in telling the stories behind the studies as the founding editor of the Lehigh Research Review, Lehigh University’s annual showcase of research and creative expression. Kelly’s background as an elementary school teacher prepared her to think creatively about communicating research—and years of teaching kids has equipped her with the patience and tenacity required for breaking down complex concepts for a broad audience.
