Matilda is an alumna of Berea College where she received her start in Development. She also served as a CASE Advancement Intern in 2018 for Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). While an undergraduate, Matilda worked in Annual Giving and served as coordinator for the college’s student philanthropy program. During her CASE Internship at VCU, she worked to launch the university’s crowdfunding platform, assisted in planning the inaugural Giving Day, and played a vital role in their Charitable Solicitation Project. Matilda is now a CASE Resident serving on the University of Iowa Center for Advancement Regional Gifts team for Main Campus. She travels the country meeting with major gift prospects and securing gifts for the University.
