Bio

Marie Earl has been recognized for her contributions to the strength of the alumni relations profession in Canada and in the United States, as well as worldwide through teaching, journal contributions and CASE Commission service.  She served as the University of British Columbia’s first Associate Vice President for Alumni/Executive Director of the UBC Alumni Association from 2000 to 2005.  Prior to that, she was Director of Alumni Relations at Stanford University. 

Over the past decade, Marie has worked as a strategy consultant, helping to develop alumni engagement strategies for Simon Fraser University, the University of Toronto, the University of Calgary, the University of Saskatchewan, the University of Manitoba, McGill University, and Concordia University. Currently, she is assisting the Private Colleges and University Alumni Directors (PCUAD) consortium of 40 universities in re-imagining their benchmarking tools. Marie is a certified executive coach and maintains an active practice, working with clients worldwide.
