Manaf has devoted his career in postsecondary education to community engagement, stakeholder and partnership development, and the management of large and complex projects. His current work at Stanford University focuses on the strategic planning of volunteer engagement, experiential strategy, and cross-campus partnerships in support of the university’s long-range vision. Previously, Manaf developed the vision and implementation plan for Stanford Graduate School of Education’s alumni engagement and community development programs as well as spent several years honing his craft as a member of the Stanford Law School external relations team. Prior to Stanford, Manaf cultivated partnerships on behalf of New York University as an employer relations and diversity/global career programs specialist, and at the University of California - Los Angeles, where he oversaw foundational elements and signature programs for the university's first year experience program.
