Bio

A former television news reporter with a passion for public speaking, Kim Infanti is executive director for digital engagement and communications in Syracuse University's Office of Alumni Engagement. Kim also hosts "Advancement Live" on the Higher Ed Live Network, highlighting innovation in alumni engagement and fundraising. Kim leads the social media strategy for Syracuse University’s “Boost the ’Cuse” giving day, oversaw the first-ever comprehensive all-alumni survey for Syracuse University, helped build SU’s alumni engagement scorecard, launched an alumni social media ambassador program, and looks forward to sharing those experiences with conference attendees.

Prior to her role in alumni engagement, Kim spent several years in career services working to connect students and alumni. While there, she created the award-winning @WorkingOrange initiative, oversaw SU's alumni mentoring program, and delivered hundreds of presentations on using LinkedIn effectively. Kim graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Syracuse University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science. She has since completed a Certificate of Advanced Study in Information Innovation (social media), as well as a master's degree in Public Administration with a focus on Organizational Leadership from Syracuse University's Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.
