Bio

Justin Gibson (he/him) is the Program Director for Diversity Outreach and Engagement for the University of Cincinnati Foundation. He has developed award-winning strategies for engaging underrepresented and historically marginalized communities of alumni and donors. As a Certified Diversity Professional, accredited by the National Diversity Council, he has used his expertise in the areas of marketing and communications to help his organization and others to create pathways to engagement for those who may not have a sense of belonging. Justin also serves as an at-large member of the CASE District V cabinet, and the chair for the Committee for Opportunity and Inclusion. Through his involvement in CASE, he has traveled the country to train advancement professionals about the juxtaposition of inclusive excellence and alumni relations/development. Outside of his work responsibilities, he is a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., where is also is a member of the PBS Impact Foundation, Inc. board. Justin currently pursuing his doctorate in Urban Educational Leadership at the University of Cincinnati with a concentration in higher education. His research interests are the intersection of DEIB and institutional advancement. He currently lives on the east side of Cincinnati with his wife of 15 years, Jami, and four kids – Sydnee, twins Olivia and Maya, and Justin, Jr. (JJ).
