Janita is the Trusts Coordinator for the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences at The University of Melbourne. She has 23 years' experience in the education sector as a teacher and consultant, most recently in trusts management, predominantly administering philanthropic gifts and endowments. Her strengths are in gift implementation, process improvement and consulting with management and academics to increase the recognition of philanthropy across work-teams. 

Janita managed scholarships for the Faculty of Arts for six years and led a team project that designed a database system for award administration for several faculties. She combines her skills to promote an improvement culture in the faculty advancement and research divisions.
