Bio

My name is Chloe Barnard, and I am the incoming CASE Graduate Trainee at the University of Bath. I am about to graduate from the University of York with a first-class master’s degree in biology. During my 4 years at York, I had the opportunity to explore some fascinating topics as well as engage in many extracurriculars.

Throughout my degree, I was involved in the University’s bi-annual telethon fundraising campaign, during which I would call York Alumni and ask for donations to some fantastic causes at the university. This role really sparked my love for fundraising and was the reason I discovered the CASE graduate scheme!

In addition to this, I also volunteered my time during the pandemic to tutor students who were missing important school hours in the lead up to their exams because of national lockdowns. This was a very rewarding experience that only furthered my passion for philanthropy in education.

Outside of university and fundraising, I like to get active by playing badminton and going to the gym, as well as being creative by painting and baking in my spare time. I am looking forward to moving to the beautiful city of Bath and I am truly excited about becoming a CASE Intern to learn and develop my skills across many areas.
