Fundraising: Targeted Campaigns & Appeals
Entries should be a fundraising initiative to raise funds for a specific purpose (such as a scholarship, department or planned gift), and/or from a specific constituency (such as faculty/staff, students, parents/grandparents, corporations/foundations, or a segment of alumni). Targeted campaigns that are part of a larger annual/regular giving campaign or a comprehensive multi-year campaign may be entered, but should have their own strategy and plan. Emphasis should be on overall strategy, messaging, execution, and results. Videos, publications and other creative materials may be included, but will be considered secondary to overall strategy.
For example:
Institution-led student philanthropy initiative
Campaign to fund a specific scholarship
Planned giving campaign
Campaign targeted to a subset of the overall alumni population
Faculty/staff giving campaign
Do not enter:
Flash/Giving day campaigns. Enter those in Fundraising: Flash/Giving Day Campaigns
Annual/Regular giving campaigns. Enter those in one of the three Annual/Regular Giving Campaign categories.
Judges will score nominations from 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest) in these five areas:
