Engagement: Student Engagement Initiatives
Entries should be an initiative to engage students in an activity or event that advances the mission or a goal of the institution. This could include activities of student alumni associations, student government, student ambassadors or any student group.
For example:
Mentoring programs
Spirit weeks
Community service projects
Do not enter:
Fundraising campaigns targeted at students. Enter those in Fundraising: Targeted Campaigns & Appeals.
Student recruitment campaigns. Enter those in the appropriate Marketing category.
Judges will score nominations from 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest) in these five areas:
Ability to serve as a model for other institutions
Creativity and innovation
Impact and results
Strategy and methodology
Use of resources (budget, people, and time) and return on investment
Judges also may consider:
Quality and clarity of nomination and supporting materials
Special circumstances/overcoming adversity
