Bio

Ben Zoll is Assistant Vice President for Principal and Major Giving at Boston Children's Hospital Trust, where he oversees fundraising across a number of beats and programs, including heart, general surgery, allergy and immunology, international fundraising, as well as the Boston Investment Conference and the Venture Philanthropy Network.

Prior to joining Boston Children's, Ben served as Senior Director of International Advancement for Harvard University, where he managed a team responsible for growing and enhancing Harvard’s engagement globally. Serving as the point person on international gift policies and priorities at Harvard, he leads cross-university efforts to synchronize Harvard’s international development efforts around coordinated strategies. Ben was responsible for developing new university-wide fundraising strategies for all international geographies, with a particular emphasis on Asia. He also staffed international travel by University leadership, and served as the University’s Principal Gifts officer for East and Southeast Asia.  Ben has over fifteen years of development experience, including roles at Conservation International and Johns Hopkins University. He speaks Mandarin Chinese, has an MA from the Jackson School at the University of Washington, and a BA from Hamilton College.
