Heather Colby is the assistant director of brand marketing and advertising at The University of Rhode Island. In addition to her four years of experience at URI, she has a strong global corporate marketing background with brands like Disney, Pillsbury, Hasbro, BIC, and Black & Decker. As an entrepreneur, she is the founder of multiple companies, including Link Marketing & Communications, LLC, Colby Strategic Marketing, and Ann Nyberg’s Network Connecticut. She graduated from Syracuse University’s Martin J. Whitman School of Management in 1993 with a B.S. in marketing management. Her favorite pastime is watching her son and daughter play soccer.
