Meet the Chair
Soha Hmaidan is the Associate Vice President for Advancement Services and Special Events at the American University of Beirut (AUB). She has overall strategic responsibility for Gifts, Records and Data Management, Prospect Research and Management, Stewardship, Campaign Reporting, Advancement Communications, Budget, Events Management, and Protocol. A high-energy leader with over 25 years of experience in higher education. Soha has also secured leadership gifts in support of the University's mission and vision and has served as Interim AVP for Communications on several occasions in recent years.
Soha holds a BBA and MBA from AUB. She is also a Certified Professional in Human Resources and Compensation. A CASE member for over 10 years, Soha has been actively engaged with MEAC since its inauguration and has spoken at various conferences with CASE in Dubai and Hong Kong and at AASP (Association for Advancement Services Professionals) in Chicago.
