Spring Institute in Educational Fundraising
Off Ashby Road (A512 Loughborough University) West Park, Loughborough LE11 3GR
New for 2022: The Thursday programme will focus on a number of workshops that focus on attitudes and behaviours that are key to a successful career in fundraising, regardless of your role. After three days of learning about different fundraising programmes (Regular Giving, Major Gifts, Campaigns etc) and the wider world of Advancement, Thursday sessions will enable delegates to explore how to apply those learnings while cultivating certain attitudes and behaviours: in line with the CASE Competency Model.
Welcome
If the new year has you wondering how you can get your spark back, the Spring Institute in Educational Fundraising (SIEF) could be your answer. This is your chance to step away from your to-do list and focus on inspiring ideas and people. It’s your chance to revive (or grow) your passion for philanthropy. It’s your chance to invest in your career, develop your understanding of all areas of fundraising, and build a supportive network of colleagues in the sector.
Like all of us, SIEF has been evolving. This year, the faculty hopes to welcome you to SIEF Hybrid: for the first time, blending virtual delivery with valuable in-person time together in Loughborough. We’re looking forward to learning and recharging with you.
Liz Reilly
SIEF is returning to in person after two successful years online! We are planning on bringing the SIEF experience to you with a reimaging structure to the week.
Delivered through a variety of plenaries, tutorials and practical workshops sessions, you will return to work with a clear sense of what your job entails and a network of supportive contacts to help you deliver your objectives.
If you have any questions in the meantime, please email Rich Nicholl, Head of Educational Programmes at [email protected].
Testimonials
"I am new to fundraising, but the Spring Institute of Educational Fundraising provided theoretical, practical and fundamental knowledge from leading experts in this field. Every session provided new ideas for me to discuss with my team at work and has helped identify what I would like to do in the future in my role as a Development Officer.
This should be mandatory for everyone in the fundraising field to engage with, at the very least it provides appreciation for the role you carry out or for those who are in the development team."
2020 Delegate
"You managed to create the most 'in-person' virtual thing I've been a part of in the past few months for which I'm really grateful. Connecting to others, with lightness yet deep focus is hard to do at the best of times, let alone behind a screen."
