Conference Opening Keynote
In this opening keynote, CASE President and CEO Sue Cunningham will reunite with two senior District V advancement leaders and CASE board members and engage in conversation about how they have led their teams and institutions since we were last together in December 2019. In particular, the conversation will explore the momentum they are experiencing now, how they have kept their teams resilient and inspired over difficult times, and their efforts to build and sustain change through renewed calls for social justice at our institutions and beyond.

Sue Cunningham
Sue Cunningham is president and CEO of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), which champions the work of advancement professionals at 3,100 schools, colleges and universities in over 80 countries. Sue serves as a Trustee for the University of San Diego and a member of the Signature Theatre (Arlington, Virginia) Board of Directors. Prior to her appointment to CASE, she served as vice principal for advancement at the University of Melbourne and the director of development for the University of Oxford. Sue was awarded a master's degree from the University of Oxford and a bachelor's degree from Middlesex University, London. Sue received a CASE Crystal Apple Award in 2008.

Shelley Greenwood
Shelley Greenwood has worked in independent schools for over 40 years. Presently, she is assistant head at the Latin School in Chicago, Illinois. Shelley enjoys oversight of an eclectic group of direct reports- development, enrollment management, communications, athletics, diversity, equity and inclusion, student life, and Latin 360º. Shelley received her B.S. from New York University and her M.S. from the University of Wisconsin. Shelley’s involvement with CASE goes back to 1997 when she attended her first CASE-NAIS conference. Last year, Shelley served as chair for the same conference which was held in a virtual format. This is Shelley’s first year serving as a CASE trustee.

James H. Moore, Jr.
Jim Moore joined the University of Illinois Foundation in July 2015 as president/CEO. Jim serves as the University of Illinois’ chief development officer and provides strategic oversight and support for a comprehensive fundraising operation for the University of Illinois System and its three universities in Urbana-Champaign, Chicago, and Springfield. Jim earned a master’s degree in management systems from Clarkson University and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Northwest Missouri State. Jim has served in a number of volunteer roles at CASE and currently is on the faculty of CASE Academy and as an At-Large member of the CASE Board of Trustees. Jim was CASE Board Chair from 2019-2021.
