"AIGLON is a 50-page printed magazine delivered to our entire global community twice per year. The magazine captures the spirit of the Aiglon experience and seeks to connect our community between generations and geography by telling compelling stories of students, alumni, staff, and parents. We want all Aiglonians to resonate with what is happening today at our school, whether they live on campus right now or left 50 years ago.
Each issue is made up of features and slots. The longer features appear in the middle of the magazine and cover in-depth stories that explore our ethos through the voices of our community. Slots are shorter pieces built around set themes and often focus on specific individuals.
The magazine is also crafted to tell these stories to families who may one day wish to join the school. Just as it lands in alumni hands around the world, our admissions office actively uses the magazine’s ever-changing content to invite families into the school experience. In this way, AIGLON is the centrepiece of our communication strategy.
While ambitious in its wide appeal, we believe AIGLON delivers in this mission. Seventeen issues in, alumni continue to read this magazine. From our 2021 alumni survey, we learned that AIGLON is particularly well-received. Most respondents (91%) say that they read the magazine at least some of the time, with over half saying they always read it (56%). The majority of readers rate it as excellent or very good (87%)."

This gorgeous magazine does a good job of understanding its audience and providing relevant content. The design is beautiful and clean, the story selection is interesting and the writing engaging, and the storytelling itself has nice variation.
