    From the Nominator

The fall 2018 parent engagement campaign was all about welcoming and welcoming back parents to the IU family and inviting them to join others to improve the student experience on the Bloomington campus. One line sums up our message to parents: “Whether you volunteer your time, energy, or expertise, or support an IU cause close to your heart, your involvement helps your student—and IU—thrive.”

    From the Judges

The panel was struck by the thoughtfulness of the articulated strategy that provides a segmented approach both for all parents as well as high capacity parent prospects. In addition, IU came up with an interesting approach to address the ongoing quandary of how to continue to resource the unrestricted parent fund while also encouraging larger gifts throughout campus. Moreover, the collateral material was beautiful and produced at a very high level of quality which speaks again to the thoughtfulness of the campaign.
