Special Events: Online Alumni Reunions
Entries should be up to three related or recurring online alumni reunions. While the event may have an in-person component, the primary focus should have been on the online audience. Judges will look for creative and meaningful ways that the online audience was engaged, beyond just watching a live-streamed event. Judges will not review entire recordings of the online events, so they will rely on your written description of the concept, strategies, and outcomes that made the events successful.
Do not enter:
A livestream of an event that had no other engagement components.
Fundraising events. Enter those in Special Events: Online Fundraisers.
Other online events, such as a speaker series, even if targeted to alumni. Enter those in Online (One-time) or Online (Series).
Judges will score nominations from 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest) in these five areas:
Overall concept and creativity
Ability to serve as a model for other institutions
Audience experience
Impact and results
Use of resources (budget, people, and time) and return on investment
Judges may also consider:
Innovation
Planning and execution
Quality and clarity of nomination and supporting materials
Special circumstances/overcoming adversity
