Asia-Pacific Alumni Relations Survey

APARS is the first CASE survey on alumni relations programs at institutions of higher education in the Asia-Pacific region. The International CASE Alumni Relations Survey (ICARS) was used as a framework for the questionnaire.

First launched in 2014, 2016 marked the third run of APARS, with 40 institutions from eight countries participating in the survey. The 2016 survey introduced behavioural metrics to benchmark alumni engagement across institutions in a meaningful way. Twelve outcome questions were added to the survey to help institutions gauge the return on investment for their alumni offerings.

The 2016 APARS survey report, based on data collected from the previous calendar year, was published in May 2017. Download the 2016 APARS survey report.

All participating institutions will receive an overall report written by the CASE Research Office, and have access to the CASE Benchmarking Toolkit for benchmarking exercises against the other institutions who took part in the survey.

The ability to benchmark by institution, mission group or survey question answer is only available to those institutions that completed the survey.

CASE Asia-Pacific is grateful to these volunteers who provided valuable feedback and advice for the 2016 survey:
