District News

District I: Save the date for the District I Conference, March 14-15, 2019, in Boston, Massachusetts.

District II: 

  • The District II Annual Conference registration opens on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018. Save the date: March 24-26, 2019, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
  • The deadline for submissions for the 2019 District II Accolades Awards and the District II Achievement Awards has been extended for one week. Friday, Oct. 19, is now the last day to enter nominations.

District III:

  • Make plans now for the District III Annual Conference, Feb. 24-27, 2019, at the Westin Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta, Georgia. Register now for the early bird rate of $425 per person for full conference registration and $149 per person for preconference workshops. 
  • It’s time to submit your award nominations and applications! Entries for the upcoming awards competition must have been produced or executed between July 1, 2017, and June 30, 2018. Submission deadline is Nov. 15.
  • Apply now for a scholarship to cover conference registration and provide reimbursement for up to $500 of travel expenses. Available scholarships include: Emerging Leader, Student Delegate, Newcomer and Minority Advancement Professional scholarships.

District V: Registration is open for the District V Conference, Dec. 9-11, 2018, in Chicago, Illinois.

District VI: Register to attend the District VI Conference, Jan. 13-15, 2019, in Denver, Colorado. 

District VIII:

  • In an effort to foster and promote diversity in the our profession, District VIII is offering 10 opportunity & inclusion scholarships for professionals from underrepresented populations in the field of advancement/communications (particularly those with fewer than four years of experience in the field) to attend the annual district conference. Applications must be submitted by Oct. 23, 2018. 
  • Reduced-rate registration for the District VIII conference in Vancouver, British Columbia, in February is now open. Book your hotel room now to benefit from the conference rate. Space is limited! The "corporate or group code" field will be prepopulated when you book using this link.
