The CASE Center for Community College Advancement Advisory Committee is seeking nominations for new members. The committee has 13 members; each member serves a three-year term. Three vacancies will be filled in 2015. Visit the CASE website to nominate yourself or a colleague. The deadline for nominations is Dec. 19.


Seeking Volunteers for Next Year's Conference

Interested in helping plan next year's Conference for Community College Advancement? Conference leaders are in the process of putting together the planning team, and welcome volunteers. The conference chair is Mike Barzacchini, director of marketing services at Harper College, and the vice chair is Beverly (Babs) Sandeen, vice chancellor of resource and economic development for the Los Rios Community College District. To be considered for the planning team, contact Paul Heaton at heaton@case.org by Oct. 21.


Where Should the 2016 Conference Be?

The organizers of the CASE Conference for Community College Advancement seek your input in selecting a location for the 2016 conference. Please complete a brief survey about cities being considered. The 2015 conference will be Oct. 1-3 in Anaheim, California. This survey should take fewer than five minutes to complete. Please reply by Nov. 7, 2014. All answers will be anonymous.


District I Hosting Event on Social Media

CASE District I is hosting an event on Enhancing, Measuring and Leveraging Engagement through Social Media on Nov. 13 at the University of Hartford in West Hartford, Connecticut. Among the panelists is Sarah McMaster, director of marketing and new media at Mount Wachusett Community College.
