CASE District News

District I: The 2008-09 breakfast series continues with "Conversations with CFOs: Advancement, Partnerships and Challenges" on Dec. 12 at Lasell College in Newton, Mass. (just west of Boston). The speaker will be David Healy, chief financial officer at Mount Ida College in Newton.

The presentation, which includes a continental breakfast, runs from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Registration and networking begin at 8 a.m. The registration fee for each program is $45 for CASE members and $65 for non-members.

District II's 2009 conference, "Charting the Future," takes place March 22-24 in Baltimore, Md., and will feature programming for advancement shops of all sizes and all areas of focus. The conference will offer four pre-conference workshops and more than 30 sessions to choose from.

Those planning to attend can register and make hotel reservations now.

District III's 2009 conference, "Step It Up!," takes place Feb. 8-11 at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Atlanta. The early-bird discount is due Dec. 22. Workshops will be offered in seven tracks in addition to the five pre-conference workshops and a roundtable. For the first time, the conference has been approved to deliver credit toward earning CFRE credentials. Get details and register.

District V: There's still time to register for the 34th annual CASE V conference, "Converge. Connect. Chicago." The conference is Dec. 14-16 at Chicago's Sheraton Hotel and Towers. Those attending are eligible for 20.75 CFRE continuing education points. Get details and register.

District VI: Members are invited to "Exhilarate!" their minds, bodies and spirits at the CASE District VI conference to be held Jan. 25-27, 2009, in Kansas City, Mo. Registration is open; session titles are available under the "programming" tab. Visit the conference Web site for more information.

District VII: Register now for the 2008 CASE District VII conference, "Shaping the Future: The New Dimensions of Advancement," which takes place Dec. 6-9 in San Francisco. This year's gathering features something for everyone-from the new advancement professional to the seasoned pro. There will be separate but integrated tracks for community colleges, independent schools and chief advancement officers.

District VIII: Registration for "Taking Flight," the 2009 CASE District VIII conference, is now open! The conference takes place Feb. 18-20, 2009, in downtown Seattle, Wash. Register by Jan. 7, 2009, to receive an early-bird discount. Please visit the conference Web site to learn more.
