On Wednesday, May 8, the House Ways and Means Oversight Subcommittee held a hearing to examine the findings of the Internal Revenue Service's College and University Compliance Project.


CASE Urges House Ways and Means Committee Working Group to Preserve Charitable Deduction

On April 12, CASE submitted written comments to the U.S. House Ways and Means Committee’s Charitable/Exempt Organization Tax Reform Working Group, urging the group to preserve the federal tax deduction for charitable contributions.

District II

CASE District II will hold a one-day program for community college professionals.

Join CASE District II community college advancement professionals for a one-day regional conference, "Setting the Advancement Agenda on Campus," to discuss and learn how to meet advancement priorities in this new era of fundraising. The conference will include: updates on CASE community college advancement research, alumni programming best practices and an advancement leadership panel. It will conclude with a wrap-up of the day. Lunch will provide a time for networking and idea sharing.

 

District III

District IV

District IV will hold a mini-conference Aug. 1 - 3.

CASE District IV Summer Mini Conference will be held from Thursday, Aug. 1, to Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Pearl South Padre Hotel. Additional information will be available on the District IV website once it becomes available.

 

 
District VI

Submit proposals for the District VI conference by June 30; award nominations are due July 1.

The "Power UP!" 2014 conference will be held Jan. 12-14, 2014, in Kansas City, Mo. The CASE 2014 Conference Planning Committee seeks proposals that will be informative and relevant, encourage opportunities for learner engagement and/or demonstrate application to the work of the participants. To learn more about submitting a proposal, visit the conference website. The deadline to submit a proposal is June 30.

District VI also invites you to nominate an outstanding CASE colleague, volunteer, Rising Star or Chief Executive Leader for recognition by District VI. Please note the different processes for each. Nominations must be from a District VI member institution.
