House Subcommittee to Hold Hearing on Tax-Exempt Organizations

The U.S. House Ways and Means Oversight Subcommittee will hold a hearing at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 16, to examine the operations and oversight of tax-exempt organizations. The hearing will focus on a number of issues, including the current Internal Revenue Service College and University Compliance Project.


CASE District News
District III

District III launched its new website, held a meeting on its 2013 conference and is now accepting nominations for its Chief Executive Leadership Award.

The District III Board of Directors and 2013 conference team met this past weekend to strategize ways to better serve its membership, including planning the 2013 "Inspire" conference.  Also, please check out the new CASE III website and share any suggestions with Greg Carroll at gcarroll@stetson.edu.

  • CASE III Chief Executive Leadership Award: District III is now accepting nominations for the Chief Executive Leadership Award.  The award recognizes CASE member institutional heads, presidents, chancellors, system heads or other campus chief executive officers for outstanding efforts in promoting and supporting education and institutional advancement.  The nomination deadline is June 1.  Questions? Are you proud of a project you completed in the last year? Enter it into the Pride of CASE V to get some recognition and share your ideas. The deadline is July 31.
