Giving USA Report: Donations to Education Remain Strong

Individuals, businesses and foundations in the United States donated more than $358 billion to charitable causes in 2014, a 7.1 percent increase over 2013, according to results released today by Giving USA Foundation. Giving to education increased 4.9 percent to $54.62 billion.

Tax Reform Working Groups Deadline Extended to June 26

Senate Finance Committee Chair Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) and Ranking Member Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) are giving the committee’s five bi-partisan tax reform working groups additional time to complete their work. The new deadline for working group reports and recommendations is June 26.

  • The deadline to submit a proposal to present at the 2016 District I conference in Boston, Massachusetts, is June 19.

District II
  • The deadline to submit a proposal to present at the District II annual conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is July 23.

District III

District IV
  • Register for the District IV mini conference, July 30-August 1 on South Padre Island, Texas.
  • Save-the-date: The 2016 District IV annual conference will be April 3-5, 2016 in Dallas, Texas.
