Charitable Donations in the United States Grew Slowly in 2012

Individuals, corporations and foundations in the United States donated more than $316 billion to charitable causes in 2012, a 3.5 percent increase over 2011, according to results released today by Giving USA Foundation. Giving to education increased an estimated 7 percent to $41.33 billion.

District II

Join the fun; be a volunteer for Baltimore 2014!

CASE conferences are run entirely by volunteers, and District II is building the volunteer team for its 2014 annual conference, which takes place Feb. 9-11, 2014, at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront. Contact conference co-chairs Trudy Pennock or David Murray to be part of this exciting and fun experience. 


District IV

Save the date for the CASE District IV Summer Mini Conference, which takes place Aug. 1-3 at the Pearl South Padre Hotel. Additional information will be posted on the District IV website soon. ¡Come Padre, Compadre!


District V

Nominations open for 2013 Chief Executive Leadership Award.

Nominations are being accepted now through July 31 for the CASE District V Chief Executive Leadership Award.

District VI

District VI is accepting session proposals for its 2014 conference.

There are burgers on the grill and the water is beckoning, but before you drift off on that air mattress, make sure you do the following:

  1. Send your session proposal(s) for the annual conference. The CASE 2014 conference planning committee is accepting proposals for the CASE District VI 2014 conference, Jan. 12-14, 2014, in Kansas City, Mo. The deadline to submit proposals is June 30, 2013.
  2. Nominate that special volunteer, colleague or executive for a District VI service award. Nominate an outstanding CASE colleague, volunteer, Rising Star or chief executive leader for recognition by District VI. The deadline to submit a nomination is Friday, Aug. 16.
  3. Mark your calendars for the conference in January (and plan to attend). January seems far away but it will be here before you know it, and no one wants to miss the great sessions, outstanding keynote speakers and tremendous opportunities to network with peers. So, open up your Outlook calendar and mark Jan. 12-14, 2014, for the District VI annual conference in Kansas City, Mo.


District VII

More than 100 advancement professionals enjoyed the CASE Utah workshop on May 17 with presentations from local experts, an address by former Sen. Bob Bennett and a social media panel.
