Cunningham Reports FY16 a Success

CASE President Sue Cunningham said that CASE ended its fiscal year with record membership of 3,690 institutional members worldwide. At the annual membership meeting held Monday in conjunction with the Summit for Leaders in Advancement, Cunningham also reported on the conclusion of a yearlong strategic planning process that resulted in new Mission, Vision and Values statements, approved July 23 by the CASE Board of Trustees.

District III
  • Nominations are being accepted for District III's Chief Executive Leadership Award. Established in 1999, this prestigious award recognizes the chief executive of a District III institution for outstanding leadership and service in support of education. Nominations will be accepted through July 29, 2016.
  • District III is accepting nominations for its board of directors: three at-large members, as well as chair-elect, secretary and treasurer. Additional board member positions will be selected by the chair for respective two-year terms. Nominations will be accepted through July 29, 2016.
  • District III is collecting items for its 2017 auction. All proceeds will directly support scholarships for students and professionals to attend the District III annual conference.

District IV

District V and VI
  • Registration is now open for the CASE V & VI Joint Conference, Dec. 11-13, 2016, in Chicago, Illinois. With two districts collaborating, more than 100 sessions and four new tracks, this conference will be unlike any you've seen before. Hotel registration is also open for the Sheraton Grand Chicago, where attendees can receive a special rate while rooms last.

District VI
  • Submit an entry for the District VI Institutional Awards, which showcase best practices in advancement. Submissions are due Aug. 12, 2016.
  • Nominate a colleague for District VI's service awards to honor his or her contributions to CASE and the advancement profession. Nominations are due Aug. 31, 2016.

District VII
  • Catch the wave of the future and be a speaker at the CASE District VII conference, March 8-11, 2017, at San Diego, California's Paradise Point Resort and Spa. Share your expertise, insights and successes with colleagues. Proposals are due July 29, 2016.
  • Nick Mendoza, art director at BYU Arts, and Sam Reed, designer, earned a Grand Gold award in the design and poster category from the 2016 CASE VII Awards of Excellence. Their story is an inspiring, quick read on the District VII blog.
