Permanent IRA Charitable Rollover Signed into Law

On Dec. 18, 2015, President Obama signed into law the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes Act of 2015, legislation that includes a permanent extension of the IRA charitable rollover.

IRS Withdraws Proposed Donor Substantiation Regulations

After receiving comments from CASE and hundreds of other charitable organizations and associations, the Internal Revenue Service has withdrawn proposed regulations that would have given charitable organizations an additional, voluntary option for substantiating gifts of more than $250.
