Lawmakers to Consider IRA Charitable Rollover Extension

As Congress wraps up work this week, lawmakers are poised to consider and pass legislation that would extend a number of expired and expiring tax provisions, including the IRA Charitable Rollover.

District I
  • Attend the 2016 District I Achievement and Recognition Awards celebration at the District I annual conference on Wednesday, Jan. 27, at the Westin Copley Place in Boston, Massachusetts. Tickets for the celebration may be purchased online.

 

District II
  • The early bird gets the worm—or, in this case, a discounted registration rate. Register for the City of Firsts annual conference by Dec. 23, 2015. 
  • District II is looking for volunteers for the annual conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. To volunteer, please complete the volunteer interest form

 

District III
  • Register yourself and your team for the District III annual conference at the group rate of $349, valid when three or more attendees from one institution register together.
  • Send auction items for the silent auction, a great place to showcase items, adventures and venues from your area and institution. All silent auction proceeds benefit District III scholarships.
  • Sign up to volunteer at the District III annual conference. Opportunities include hosting newcomers, assisting at registration, moderating sessions and more.

 

District IV
  • Registration is open for the 2016 District IV annual conference, April 3-5, in Dallas, Texas. Register now to receive early bird registration pricing.
  • The District IV Accolades competition is now open. The deadline for entries is Friday, Jan. 15, 2016.
  • Information about board nominations, new professional conference scholarships and District IV awards deadlines are all available on the District IV website.

 

District V

 

District VI
  • Register for the 2016 District VI annual conference in Jan 24-26, 2016, in Kansas City, Missouri.
  • Book your room at the The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center, the conference hotel.
  • Pre-conference master sessions are centered on creating integrated solutions to meet the changing needs of alumni and donors. Sign up when registering for the conference.   

 

District VII
  • The CASE VII: Utah conference will be May 13, 2016 in Ogden, Utah. Registration is now open, if you wish to use year-end funds to register.
  • The conference planning committee is accepting session proposals. Send a bio and a brief description of your session idea to Michelle Barber-Lyhnakis at Westminster College
