Call for Examples of Effective Alumni Relations

If you have an effective practice to share for possible inclusion in an upcoming CASE book on community college alumni relations, CASE would like to hear it. The authors are interested in successful examples—big and small—including:

  • Orientation to "becoming" alumni while still students
  • Services for alumni (mentoring, career counseling, job fairs, etc.)
  • Alumni engagement (reunions or other social gatherings, continuing education, lectures, events, etc.)
  • Alumni advocacy (marketing and advertising testimonials, advocacy with elected officials or for a ballot measure, etc.)
  • Alumni service to the college (ambassadors, foundation and governing board members, advisory committee members, strategic planning committees, etc.)
  • Alumni philanthropy
