Heaton Promoted at CASE

The inaugural director of the CASE Center for Community College Advancement, Paul Heaton, has a new role at CASE: director, Office of the President. In his new role, he will assist with presidential communications, help lead strategic plan implementation efforts, manage special projects and work with the vice president of volunteer relations to coordinate CASE Board of Trustee meetings.

Heaton will continue to lead planning efforts for the 2016 Conference for Community College Advancement, as well as other ongoing community college programs, until a successor is in place. CASE Vice President Ron Mattocks is leading the national search. Details about the position can be found in CASE Career Central.

Heaton joined CASE in 2011 after five years as director of public relations for Northwestern Michigan College. Prior to NMC, he was in charge of marketing and communications for Interlochen Center for the Arts, where he also served as assistant to the president.
