Planning Team Named for Conference for Community College Advancement

Mitch Andrews, executive director of advancement for the Tyler Junior College Foundation in Texas, has been named chair of the 2017 Conference for Community College Advancement. Doug Ferguson, director of alumni programs at Delaware County Community College, will serve as vice chair.

The conference takes place Oct. 12-14, 2017 at the Anaheim Marriott in Anaheim, California.

Other members of the conference planning team include:

  • Laura Brown, vice president and chief advancement officer, Harper College (Illinois)
  • Rosie Connor, director of advancement and government relations, Snow College (Utah)
  • Geoff Green, chief executive officer, Santa Barbara City College Foundation (California)
  • Candice Grause, manager of content and digital strategy, Tallahassee Community College (Florida)
  • Kelsey Hukill, director of alumni relations, Clark College (Washington)
  • Kris McPeak, director of operations, foundation, Pasadena City College (California)
  • Tina Overwater, stewardship officer, Bow Valley College (Calgary)
  • Nancy Pryor, director of communications, Foundation for California Community Colleges (California)
  • Vanessa Torres, director of public relations, San Antonio College (Texas)
  • Julie Wurtzel, executive director for advancement, Northeast Iowa Community College (Iowa)

March 3 is the deadline to submit proposals for the 2017 Conference for Community College Advancement.
