CASE District News
District I

CASE District 1 extends a special invitation to a free CASE tweet-up for April 18 on MIT's campus, held in conjunction with the CASE Social Media conference. We plan to include all attendees of the conference plus any local area people who are interested in social media. Follow the tweet-up using the Twitter hashtag #meetcasesmc. Details and registration are on the District I website.


District II

CASE District II is partnering with the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools to hold a statewide advancement conference later this month.

Seeking to strengthen its relationships with independent school members, CASE District II and NJAIS will host "It's All About Relationships," a one-day advancement conference on Monday, April 29, at the Pennington School near Princeton, N.J.

The conference will feature a keynote address by Elizabeth Boluch Wood, vice president for advancement at Princeton University. Wood, who has served on the Princeton advancement staff since 2005, is widely credited as a major architect of the university's $1.75 billion Aspire campaign. Other conference features include dedicated tracks for:

  • Alumni relations/volunteer management
  • Fundraising/advancement services
  • Communications, marketing and social media

The event will wrap up with a panel discussion on personal career management and work/life balance.

District III

District III has a new feature on its website.

The District III website now has a member institution feature that will highlight member institutions. To be featured on the website, submit a photo (jpg format) along with 200 words or less about your institution. This can be anything from a profile to a specific news note. These features will run in the order in which they are received. Send features to: In the subject line, write CASE FEATURE in all caps.


District IV

Congratulations to the recipients of CASE District IV's most prestigious annual honors and the winners of the 2013 CASE Accolades. 

The following individuals were recognized:

  • CASE District IV 2013 Dr. E. Joseph Savoie Chief Executive Leadership Award: Steven G. Gamble, Eastern New Mexico University
  • CASE District IV 2013 Distinguished Service Award: Danny Jenson, UNT Health Science Center
  • CASE District IV 2013 Rising Star Award: Carrie Phillips, Arkansas Tech University
