"Institutions are clearly taking social media seriously," says Michael Stoner, president of the Chicago-based strategic communications firm mStoner. "But I'm disappointed that we haven't seen more effective ways of measuring return on investment. Except for giving, it's still difficult for institutions to measure ROI."
