People & Communities

Hello, District 6!

My name is Rachel Kleist, and I'm proud to serve as your CASE ASAP District 6 Representative. The district six footprint encompasses 635,623 square miles and is composed of eight states including Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming.

We're big, and our district ambitions for student advancement are even bigger!

This fall, I'm working to implement a district cabinet composed of eight exemplary student leaders, one representing each state in our district. The cabinet's purpose is to encourage like-minded organizations to join our cause in improving our efforts in student advancement. Furthermore, we are building the foundation to host a CASE ASAP district conference in 2019.

In March 2017, the University of Nebraska hosted a joint conference with District 4. Schools who attended spanned from North Dakota to New Mexico. More importantly, one hundred students and advisers were able to discuss challenges and share best practices to improve our student alumni associations, student foundations, and ambassador programs. This important dialogue will continue at our national Conference for Student Advancement in Louisville, KY on Aug. 2 - 4, 2018. I hope you and your organization will be able to attend.

I look forward to getting to know you better and working together to increase our district's prestige and reputation on a national scale. Feel free to reach out to me throughout the year.

All the best,

Rachel Kleist
