Hannah Fox
Associate Director, Volunteer Engagement
London Business School

Hannah has been working with volunteers since the start of her career in education in 2007. She joined London Business School as Alumni Relations Manager in August 2014, at the beginning of the School's first fundraising campaign to raise £100 million, and 100,000 volunteering hours. During her first two years at LBS, Hannah managed the new alumni strategy, working with over 180 alumni volunteers to engage new graduates in alumni activity.

After a very successful campaign close in 2016, Hannah spent the following year as Senior Alumni Relations Manager focusing on student engagement and raising the profile of the work of Advancement with the student community. She began her new role as Associate Director, Volunteer Engagement in January 2018 where she leads on the strategy for engaging the LBS community through volunteering.


Rachael Green
Head of Volunteering
University of Nottingham

Rachael Green has worked in the sector since 2009 originally as a senior student caller at the University of Birmingham and then at Exeter in International Alumni Relations and as Acting Alumni Giving Manager. Since 2014 Rachael has been working at the University of Nottingham to establish their first volunteering programme and launch of volunteering as part of the Impact Campaign.

Nora Capocci
Volunteer Manager, Advancement
London Business School

Nora Capocci is a Volunteer Manager at London Business School with nearly ten years of experience in volunteer management, fundraising, communications and development. Before joining London Business School in 2016, Nora worked at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine in External Relations as well as having worked at Lawrence Hall Youth Services in Chicago, IL. Nora holds a Master of Public Health degree as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Northern Illinois University.


Helen Crowther
Alumni Groups and Student Engagement Officer
University of Exeter

Helen has worked in the sector for nearly four years, starting at the University of Exeter Business School working in alumni relations, before becoming the Alumni Networks and Groups Officer in 2016. Since 2016 Helen has worked with a number of alumni volunteer groups helping them to run events in London and the South West. She has also created Exeter's first student engagement strategy, working to raise the profile of alumni relations amongst the student audience.

Sarah Jeffs
Senior Development Manager
London Business School

Sarah is a major gifts professional with five years' experience in higher education fundraising. Currently a Senior Development Manager at the London Business School where she has been since 2015, she is responsible for raising substantial six figure funds and managing the major donor community in Europe and India. As an alumna of the CASE graduate scheme where she worked at UCL, Sarah has been involved regularly with CASE over the years, and also volunteers her time by sitting on the Development Committee for Clean Break - a theatre education charity for at risk women.


Holly Palmer
Alumni and Supporter Experience Consultant
Holly Palmer Consulting

Holly specialises in understanding alumni, donors, and volunteers, and uses this insight to strengthen fundraising and engagement programmes. Since starting her consulting firm in 2016, she has worked with several leading UK education institutions to deliver qualitative and quantitative alumni and supporter research studies. Holly began her education fundraising career in donor relations at The University of Auckland and later led the University of Nottingham development team's strategic planning and project management function.


Lizzie Ruse
Alumni eMentoring Coordinator
University of Sheffield

Lizzie has a broad range of volunteer management experience in both the Community and HE sectors. Joining The University of Sheffield in 2014, Lizzie originally worked in the Careers Service, where she set up and managed a successful online eMentoring programme for students and alumni. Moving to Development, Alumni Relations and Events in August 2017, Lizzie now manages and develops the programme of alumni volunteer activity across the University, co-ordinating existing activity and developing new initiatives, ensuring high quality alumni engagement activities that support the University's strategic needs.
