Welcome and Stage Setting
Join Institute chair, Jeff Schoenherr and the program faculty to set the stage for the 3-hour deep dive into management for gift officers.

Getting to know your people and performance management
First impressions matter to establish credibility. Knowing your current team, what's the perfect "start" you wish you had? During this session we'll discuss the importance of chemistry-and performance. Should metrics be implemented or revised with your team; and if so, are they even related to desired outcomes? Most importantly, how do you figure out who to keep, who to move and how to make it all happen?

Roles of Highly Effective Managers
As with fashion decisions, the demanding role of modern managers needs people who are both creative and willing to adapt to changing settings. What is often not discussed is how, on any given hour, you will be called adapt and adjust to the demands of your jobs and your roles as manager. Let's work together to identify those roles and share critical elements to making those a success for you.
