With pre- and post-conference experiences, this intensive workshop will equip managers skills they need to manage effectively.


Minority Advancement Institute

This institute was created in 2006 to foster the development of diverse leaders in the advancement profession. The program focuses on management, leadership and mentoring of advancement professionals who have the potential to rise to the ranks of senior management. Almost 120 professionals have participated in the program with more than 20 percent today in leadership positions.

Conference on Diverse Philanthropy and Leadership

This conference concentrates on emerging philanthropic markets (i.e., ethnic, LGBT, young alumni) in advancement, while exploring minority wealth, philanthropic behaviors and diverse engagement strategies. The program also features sessions on enhancing management and leadership skills for advancement professionals of diverse backgrounds. Presented in collaboration with African American Development Officers Network (AADO).
